A personal response to the Law Commission of England and Wales Consultation Paper 171, Trustee Exemption Clauses, by Mr Gregory Hill (Barrister who appeared in the leading case of Armitage v Nurse). Article published in Amicus Curiae - Journal of the Society for Advanced Legal Studies. The Journal is produced by the Society for Advanced Legal Studies at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London. A brief summary of the proposals in the Law Commission's consultation paper on trustee exemption clauses is included in preliminary matter.
