Mr Brian Kenneth PEPPIATT, stock jobber. Born 16 April 1934, Chesham, Bucks. Educated at Winchester College. Became member of the Stock Exchange in 1956. Partner in Akroyd & Smithers; Deputy Chairman in 1978; Joint Chairman 1981. Described as 'the best jobber of his era'. After Big Bang became Joint Chairman of Warburgh Securities. Retired 27 June 1990. Date of recording: 18 January 1990. Access to tape and transcript restricted until 11 June 2021.
