In co-operation with the British and Irish Association of Law Libraries (BIALL) the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies in London has been responsible for many years for a service published in its professional journal Legal Information Management and also makes freely available a searchable database. The authors provide a brief introduction to caLIM, the Current Awareness for legal Information Managers web database which is freely available to legal researchers on the IALS website.
