The audio examples are taken from the Kreutzer Quartet’s rehearsal of Finnissy’s Second String Quartet (with the composer) at the Royal Academy of Music, 4 February 2007. The video extracts are from a discussion and presentation that took place with composer and performers at a York Gate research event at the RAM, 23 March 2007. These examples are referenced from Bayley’s journal article published in Ethnomusicology Forum, in 2011.
