Summary of Chairman of Chase National Bank, Winthrop Aldrich, advice to shareholders on anumber of issues including that trade should flow freely internationally after the war, along with other addresses by prominent experts on the economy including Dr. E. A. Goldenweiser and Mr. R. C. Leffingwell. The Assistant Secretary of State, Adolf Berle, suggested that US gold could be given to other states for post-war reconstruction purposes.
