Video with an audio recording of 'Der Führer spricht' ('The 'Führer speaks'), a parody sketch of a speech by Hitler in which he announces his intention of subjugating the USA to the German Reich. The speech was first written and performed by Martin Miller (in January 1940) and the audio recording is of its broadcast on the BBC's German Service on 1 April 1940. The recording lasts 4 mins 39 secs. The video shows a photograph of Martin Miller performing the sketch at the Austrian exile theatre, the <em> Laterndl </em> in 1940.
