TENTATIVE ITINERARY FOR INSPECTION OF THE

TUESDAY. 1 OCTOBER
Board depart Washington, D,C. for Miami, Florida via two or throe
Army or Navy planes.   Remain in Miami Tuesday night.

WEDNESDAY. 2 OCTOBER
Depart for Bahama Area employing two patrol planes for transportation.
One plane may transport Admiral Groenslade, General Covers and their aides
to Nassau for exchange of calls on the Governor of the Bahama group if neces-
sary.   The remainder of the Board proceed Eleuthera direct.   First group join
second group at Eleuthera.   On completion of inspections and brief conference
proceed Guantanano Cuba as may be directed, observing Cat Island, etc., en
route.   Transport cruiser arrive Guantanano before 1600.
If/fcSffi1'Ifoard embark on arrival then proceed to Kingston, Jamaica.
Patrol planes remain Guantanano.

Eleuthera - Guantanano - 390 miles 4 hours

THURSDAY. 3 October
Transport cruiser arrive Kingston.   Exchange of official calls, con-
ferences, etc., then proceed Portland Bight.   Patrol planes join up as
directed.

Transport cruiser and Patrol planes at Portland Bight.   Board conduct
inspections, flying over Black River country if deened useful.
SUNDAY. 6 October
Transport cruiser and Patrol planes at Portland Bight.   Cruiser trans-
port 3oard to Kingston for conference, if necessary-
Cruiser proceed to Trinidad.   Patrol pieces proceed San Juan or as
arranged.

Note:   One or both planes reaain over night if necessary.

ferences, and inspections, as necessary.   Cruiser departs for Antigua.
