Dear Hibbert,
With reference to your letter No.
7025/2/36 of the 14th November, I enclose a
new version of telegram No. 971 from the
Commodore, New Zealand.     You will see that
the correction recently received and
incorporated in the present copy shows that
the Soviet Union submarine previously mentioned
(which puzzled us somewhat at the time) now
turns out to have been none other than H.M.S.
LEITH.
I am sending copies of the corrected
telegram to the other people concerned .and shall
not fail to send you copies of the written
reports forwarded by the various ships when they
arrive.
