Dear Archer, Thank you for your letter of the 26th October 720/152) regarding the suggestion of the New Zealand Government that a conference might be held to consider "Pacific Island matters". we should have thought that the better course would be to ask them to get cut mcro precisely what subjects they have in mind. If however you and the other Departments prefer to draw up an Agenda here, we should like to see what is proposed before it goes to the Dominions.
