The following paragraph should be added as an extra
paragraph at the end of page 4 of I.A.C. Paper 510:- ^
"In addition to the matters dealt with above, the
United Kingdom representatives r.t the Conference will need
to be informed as to the principles on which a joint Trans-
Pacific service, in co-operation nith the U.S.A., should be
established, e.g., the constitution of the Joint Operating
Company and the conditions on which the route should be
operated.     The projected service on the North Atlantic might
well be taken as a model"»
