Defence Conference which op<ns on 14th April I asked
the Government of New Zealand if it would be possible
to postpone the opening by one day in order that I
could leave Fiji on 11th April instead of 31st ],',archo
I have been infor.ted that thi^ is not poesible   I am
necessarily leaving here 31st March but so as to put
in intervening ti^e as usefully as is possible I an
proceeding at first to Sydney returning to 'Velllngton
by April 12th,
to ny Estimates telegram Koa57 may be sent before my
departure.
