With reference to Pitblado'B letter
No.F720/311 of the 20th of April enclosing a copy of
the telegram No.88 secret of the 17th of April from
the United Kingdom High Commissioner in New Zealand, I
enclose for your information a copy of a despatch from
the liigh Commissioner for the Western Pacific
tran8uitting copies of a letter and a report from
Squadron Leader 3. A. Gibson, Royal New Zealand .-\ir
Force, on the work of the recent -ilr Survey Expedition
to the Central Pacific Islands.
above telegram that the report has been discussed by a
committee of the Pacific Conference.
I am sending copies of the report to Pitblado,
Grover and Herbertson.
