Briefly oquadron Leader Gibson proposes to
cover inspection of aerodrome development at .western
Jamou, Fiji und Tonga.
j*t Western .".amou he will examine the a' rodrone
site proposals put forward "by the Survey otaff attached
to the .-.dminiotration and advise them on the technical
aspects of the suitability of the sites and the method
of construction to be adopted if they are proceeded with.
At Suva, "r'i^i, there i3 at present an a rodromo
engineer's assistant, who has been currying out initial
survey work in connection with proposed aerodrome sites
in the Colony.     oquadron Leader Gibson intends to
examine the present position with regard to implementing
survey and construction proposals.
The major work of the present party under
oquadron Leader Gibson is to be carried out at Vonga.
A party will be landed there to carry out a land survey
of proposed land aerodrome sites und a hydrograohic
survey of suitable ureas for seaplane alighting areas.
Squadron Leader Gibson intends to give the initial
instructions to this party whilst actually on the
Island, after he has inspected th   proposed sitvs.
