mark the date of receipt of the letters there Company -state that hh±to*i
outward letters v/ill bo prepaid United States, stamping ^nd treated
as pa-uebot letters.     His iaajes^.y-    Government in New, Zealand
assume there is no objection to accepting herq lettere for'.Canton
Island.     The Air Services will be extremely useful to s,e^ying the
isolated communities*
The proposed services, combine/1 with the Transi American
Service will provide a six day despatch New Zealand - England but
letter postage from here at present rats of exchange wilj be 6f&?
