The War Department has now expressed the hope that the British Government may extend the authority already granted to include Jamaica, the Bahama Islands, Newfoundland, Bermuda, British Honduras and Trinidad in view of the probability Mr. N. I should be grateful for an indication from you whether the appropriate authorities of your Government are disposed to grant the desired permission.
