I have to refer to Mr, Butler's despatch No. 1075.
of the 12th December, 1940, regarding the ratification
of the Treaty signed at Washington on the 6th September
last between the President of the United States of
America on the one hantl and His Majesty The King in
respect of the Commonwealth of Australia on the other,
amending the Treat^for the Advancement of Peace
between the United States and the United Kingdom of
the 15th September, 1914.     I now transmit The King's
instrument of ratification of the amending Treaty for
delivery to your Australian colleague.
