Abstract

Joan Young's Current Affairs Exercise Book 1935-6


Joan attended Droxford Council School in Southampton. Between the ages of 12 and 13, she recorded her reactions to daily events in the press and news. Her comments include observations on the appearance of 'Signor Mussolini' and 'Herr Hitler' as well as 'How I would like to spend Christmas'. Joan's book is the property of Kate Moorse.
