Abstract

A level history project on the Celts by Annie Whithead, 1980

Annie Whitehead attended a Norfolk secondary school and was interviewed for the History in Education Project. She chose to study the Celts for her individual A level project, concentrating not on the Celts as warriors, but instead in 'an attempt to show that there was another, more gentle aspect of Celtic life'. The project is presented in neat hand-writing and includes a map and several photocopied illustrations. There are two mock A level examinations from 1980 at the end of the Project.
