Abstract

School work of Julie Johnson, 1974-7

Julie Johnson attended Littlehampton School (comprehensive) from 1974-9. The three exercise books contain her history work from her second and third years. Her work contains notes illustrated with her coloured drawings and maps - all completed with attention to detail, despite the fact that she did not find the history she was studying interesting. The topics covered included the traditional chronological story of British history, but also the story of the Empire, which was quite unusual by the mid-1970s.
