Abstract

The law of restitution: taking stock

Despite the decision of the House of Lords in the Guinness Mahon case, which provided answers to some unanswered questions in the difficult area of restitution, many other questions still remain. In this article the Right Honourable the Lord Millett describes the current state of play, detailing in particular some of the remaining areas of possible controversy.
