Reflections on developments in the Rio de la Plata following the end of the Revolutionary wars. Followed by a letter from Mariano Obispo to Pedro Dionicio Cabral, governor of the Province of Corrientes, lamenting the state of the Province, and a government declaration announcing the foundation of a casa de misericordia, signed Joaquin Madariaga and Gregorio Valdes, dated Corrientes 26 April 1845.
