The School of Advanced Study comprises ten prestigious research Institutes in the University of London. The aim of the School is to offer academic opportunities, facilities and stimulation across and between a wide range of subject fields in the humanities and social sciences. The five main objectives of the School are:
The Institutes of the School each form a community in SAS-SPACE, to make their publications available there. Readers are referred to the relevant sections. The School aims to make available certain of the publications that it produces in its central coordinating and facilitating role. The School also aims to publish the University Trust Lectures, Readings and Recitals for which it is responsible, and which are organised on its behalf by the various Institutes. Publications of Trust activities will also usually be accessible from the relevant Institute's SAS-SPACE. The School will also aim to include reports and publications from its Visiting Professorial Fellows and its University of London Fellows.
