The author describes a fact-finding visit to Colombia by a group of UK lawyers in August 2008. The author is a Law Society Council Member, member of the Law Society's International Human Rights Committee with responsibility for Colombia, Director of Pro Bono at the College of Law, and an Associate Professor.
