Interview with Mr Stephen E.J. RAVEN. Born 19 January 1938, Bromley, Kent. Educated at St Joseph's College, Beulah Hill, London. Joined father's firm of Stocken & Concanon; office boy (1955), 'red button' and 'blue button' (1956); National Service in the RAF; returned to Stocken & Concanon; became dealer in 1960. Became a member of the Stock Exchange in 1961; senior partner of Stocken & Concanon in 1971, later Stocken & Lazarus; merged with Akroyd & Smithers in 1977. Member of Stock Exchange Council 1975.
