Abstract
Interview with Mr John Brinsley BROOKS, broker. Born 7 March 1937, London. Educated at Eton. After National Service, joined stockbrokers Hoare & Co, initially in the messenger department and worked way through firm as 'blue button', broker-dealer and senior partner. Became a member of the Stock Exchange in 1960. Retired as Managing Director of Hoare Govett Securities in 1988.
