Abstract
Interview with Mr John Bentley WOOLFENDEN. Born 7 December 1940, Southport. Educated at Uppingham School, Rutland. Joined stockbroking firm, A S Milnes & Co. in Liverpool (1960). Dealt on Liverpool Stock Exchange. Became a member of the Stock Exchange in Liverpool and partner in Milnes in 1964. Joined 'shunters' Henry E Rensburg & Co (1965)and turned to jobbing, training with Durlacher Oldham Mordaunt Godson in London. Firm split in 1974 with the end of dual capacity and became Moulsdale. Later merged with Phillips & Drew. Member of the Stock Exchange Council from 1981.
