Abstract
Interview with Sir Patrick John Rushton SERGEANT. Born 17 March 1924, King's Down, Kent. Educated at Beaumont College. Financial journalist. After service in the navy, joined Mullens & Co as a 'blue button' but did not there there was a future in the Stock Exchange. Joined the 'News Chronicle' as a reporter in 1948, and was Deputy City Editor (1953), and City Editor (1960-84) at the 'Daily Mail'. Founder and Managing Directory of Euromoney Publications, 1969-1985.
