Leverhulme World War II published book lists

The result of work undertaken on the Leverhulme Project between July and September 2006 comprising the preparation of two cross referenced booklists, containing titles published - and recommended by the Authorities - during the World War II period in a series of over 20 lists.This item contains two excel spreadsheets: the first contains 5300+ titles of UK publications. They are listed alphabetically according to author and provide the following data: author, title of work (descriptive phrase if available), publisher, publication date, list where title appears, category indication wihin the list (if applicable) and sponsoring body (if applicable). Titles appearing in the Series or as Reference Works are listed within the main body and separately as coda. The second file contains approximately 1500 titles of US-circulated books. Cross referencing to the UK master list has been undertaken whenever applicable.
