Abstract
This dissertation examines the multifold role of employees within a corporation, highlights the need to accept workers as legitimate stakeholders and assesses the impact on modern corporate governance movement. The author considers the effect of legislative reform on the presence of employees in the boardroom and varied influence on Board structures, and argues that an employee's collaborative approach and ability to transmit information is key to overall productivity.
