Petition by landowners to the government, proposing changes to the public land law of 14 November 1864, including a just system of dividing land, the reduction and fixing of land prices, longer deadlines for payment and a suspension of interest. The petition is dated 1 May 1865, and includes a list of signatories' names, many of which have been crossed out by hand
