Abstract
Two extracts concerning naturalism and natural history, the first signed Alejandro Humboldt and dated Berlin, 1 September 1853, the second entitled 'El Naturalista Amado Bonpland', both from 'Revista del Plata', by Carlos E. Pellegrini, published Buenos Aires, November and December 1854, and January 1855. Followed by a biography of Amado Bonpland, the French explorer and Botanist who settled in the Rio de la Plata, signed Pedro de Angelis and dated Montevideo, 12 November 1854
