Appeal from the city council of Huajuapan to the Honorable Legislatura of the state of Oaxaca, asking that article 3 of the constitution, declaring Catholicism as the state religion, not be repealed or changed. Signed Miguel Carrion and others, dated 6 February 1834. Followed by 'Acta y representacion del partido de Acatlan, en contra del tolerantismo', concerning the same issue, dated 19 February 1834
