Brief description of the main events occurring in the Province of Catamarca under Eusebio Gregorio Ruso, a key player in the province's declaration of independence in 1821. Includes a letter from Miguel de la Peña to governor Manuel Antonio Gutierrez. Followed by 'Documentos', including correspondence between Nicolás Avellaneda y Tula, first governor of Catamarca, Francisco Mota, Gutierrez, Figueroa de Tucuman and others. Dated 21 March 1827
