Abstract
Foreign Office Official discussion with Stephen Early from the White House regarding the tactics to employ regarding the transfer of the Naval Destroyers to the British, and includes a discussion on Prime Minister Churchill's view that if Britain was to surrender then the British fleet would continue to defend the Empire.
