Abstract
Marian Clarke attended Carlton Station Road Senior Girls Council School in Nottinghamshire during the Second World War. The school was a senior elementary school in which the curriculum was still focused largely on the 3 'Rs' - English and Arithmetic together with history, geography, 'physical training' and practical subjects, such as needlework and domestic science. The only natural science taught was biology. The report book contains 6 reports on her progress.
