Abstract
Detailed account of events occurring between the two decisive battles of Chacabuso on 12 February 1817, and Maipo on 5 April 1818, fought between the Army of the Andes and the Spanish Royalist Army, and the Chilean declaration of Independence from Spain in Santiago. Followed by 'Documentos' and 'Estado jeneral que manifiesta la entrada i gasto que han tenido las cajas del Tesoro publico del Estado de Chile desde 13 de Febrero de 1817, que entre a esta capital el ejercito victorioso de los Andes, hasta fin de Diciembre del mismo'
