Abstract
Writings of the Convention of 29 October 1840, about the development and outcome of the 'cuestion francesa', or the rising French population in the Rio de la Plata. Followed by 'Documentos justificativos', including 'Convencion entre la Francia, y El Gobierno de la Provincia de Buenos-Aires, Encargado de las relaciones exteriores de la Confederacion Arjentina', 'El Exmo. Sr. Jeneral en Jefe del Ejército Constitucional, investido del mando supremo de la República Oriental del Uruguay; y el Exmo. Gobierno de la Provincia de Corrientes', 'Protocolo De una conferencia, entre el Sr. Buchet Martigny, Cónsul General, Encargado de Negocios y Plenipotenciario de S. M el Rey de los Franceses, y la Comision Arjentina, establecida en Montevideo, con el objeto de fijar algunos hechos relativos á la cuestion pendiente en el Rio de la Plata', 'Circular á los Gobiernos de Córdoba y Santa-Fé', and 'Apendice sobre Varangot'
