Abstract
Representative Tinkham's suspicions concerning the Anglo-US exchange of notes, regarding joint control of Canton and Enderbury Islands. It also includes an overview of the response by Mr. Hackworth from the State Department to Tinkham with points of clarification regarding British discovery and claims of Christmas Island.
