Abstract
Acknowledged receipt of message on the tank programme. Gratitude expressed for the provision of tanks, and a desire to emphasise the production of medium tanks over that of light tanks. Possibility of training men for the tank corps in the United States. Development of wars plans for 1942 and 1943 is underway, with particular reference to base security and the aerial bombardment of Italy and Germany.
